Please Note: The Enersol Solar Heating System is not compatible with INTEX, DOLPHINO, Inflatable, Soft Sided, or Vinyl Sided Pools

The Enersol Solar Pool Heater is made for 'do-it-yourself' installation. With this System Kit, and it's easy to follow instructions, it can be up and running in a weekend.

This installation kit contains the parts required to install one bank of solar collectors, if you have multiple banks in the same installation multiple kits will be required:

  • 1 x Literature installation package (w/ install tool and 2 x o-rings)
  • 2 x HEC
  • 1 x roof sealant
  • 2 x end cap 1.5in. (NPT plug)
  • 2 x end cap 1.5in. (slip x NPT)
  • 1 x teflon tape
  • 1 x o-ring lubricant 3/8 oz
  • 1 x header strap (12 in.)
  • 1 x lag bolt (2 in.)

Lots of Plumbing

I put the system on my metal pool shed roof which wasn't easy. The roof is impossible to walk on due to the slant and metal is slippery. The connections were mostly 90 degree but lots of planning to complete project. Once installed there was a leak in one of the tubes created by me or from the factory not sure. I fixed the leak as per instructions by Enersol which took some time. I suggest using sharp scissors as I used a knife and created another leak but both repaired. I'm not sure of efficiency of system but time will tell if it was waste of money or not.
