COVID-19 UPDATE

To our Valued Customers

Effective July 31st, 2020, the province of Ontario will be entering Stage 3 of reopening in accordance with the regulations established by the Government of Ontario. All Discounter's Pool & Spa Warehouse locations are included in this reopening.

What does Stage 3 entail for you as our customers?
As a retail store, legally we may now hold up to 50 people but must continue to maintain a physical distance of at least 2 metres from people outside your household.

PLEASE NOTE:
Our primary goal remains on protecting the health and safety of our associates, customers and the communities we serve. For that reason, we must ask that ALL customers who wish to shop with us in person to wear a mask or face cover indoors. In addition, please note that we have further increased our cleaning protocols for all high touch surfaces, our Associates will be wearing gloves and masks, we will have shields at checkout and floor decals throughout to help all guests with social distancing.

In addition all seven of our locations will continue to offer our Free Store Pickup service, please submit your orders online at discounterspoolandspa.com.
Lastly, for those of you that cannot visit our locations, we are also continuing our Free Home Delivery on orders over $199*, for all online orders.
Our thoughts continue to be with those directly affected by the virus and all essential workers working tirelessly to support their communities. Take good care of yourselves.

* For safety reasons, some of our water care chemicals cannot be shipped. We encourage those of you looking for such items to select Store Pickup at checkout to take advantage of our Buy Online, Pickup in Store service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the Coronavirus be spread in my pool or spa?
Many of you have reached out with concerns about your ability to service and maintain your pool or spa during this time of uncertainty. According to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC), there is no evidence that the Coronavirus can be spread to humans through the use of properly maintained and sanitized pools or spas. Proper operation, maintenance, and sanitation should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19. Proper pool and spa maintenance is necessary to ensure pool water does not succumb to algae and bacteria growth that can create additional health challenges.

Will you refill my Liquid Chlorine containers now that you've reopened?

Yes! However, due to the restricted number of individuals allowed into the store at one time, there may be a delay. This delay is due to high volume and restricted access, which may cause individuals to wait in line.

Will you honour the Liquid Chlorine Refill Card now that you've reopened?

Yes! Since Liquid Chlorine Refill Cards do not have an expiry date, all cards will be honored.

Will you be offering your free water testing service now that you've reopened?

Yes! Please note that results will only be emailed to customers, we will not be able to process your water samples while you wait. Also because of a large volume, there is a backup on results which is creating a notable delay for the individual receiving the results of the water test. We recommend an at-home testing kit to get quick results. At-home testing kits are very effective for the first pool test of the year. Click here to view At-Home testing kits.

Will you be accepting cash now that you've reopened?

Yes.
