Algae Free Guarantee Terms & Conditions

To further build on our Great Advice Promise, Discounter’s Pool and Spa Warehouse has designed an Algae Free Guarantee Program for Swimming Pools.

1. The Discounter’s Pool and Spa Warehouse Algae Free Guarantee Program includes the annual purchase of our 3 step Program. “Sanitize” (Chlorine Pucks, Bromine Tablets, or Salt), “Oxidize”(12x400g of Now), and “Maintain” (Weekly). All 3 of these products (based on the calculation of your pool water volume) are to be purchased to qualify for the AFG.

2. To qualify for the AFG, a monthly water test and balancing is required. This is to ensure water balance is maintained.

3. This guarantee qualifies as long as the pool’s circulating system is in good working order. Solar blankets should be removed from the pool during daylight hours. If for any reason the pool equipment breaks down and cannot filter the water, the Algae Free Guarantee does NOT apply as filtration and circulation are key to water care. If the solar blanket is left on the pool for days at a time, the Algae Free Guarantee does NOT apply.

4. Discounter’s Pool & Spa Warehouse Algae Free Guarantee is not transferable.

5. If a claimant’s pool water is to have an algae infestation, Discounter’s Pool and Spa Warehouse will supply an Algae Away Kit and Pool Rescue(Based on Pool Water Volume) at no charge to the claimant. This kit is guaranteed to return the water back to clean and clear. Please bring a water sample and photograph of your pool water to a store location when making a claim towards the Algae Free Guarantee.

6. If the claimant fails to bring a water sample and photograph of the pool at the time of claim as specified, the claim will not be eligible for the guarantee until that is provided.

7. Discounter’s Pool & Spa Warehouse shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using the guarantee, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

8. These Terms & Conditions are subject to Canadian law and to the jurisdiction of the courts of Canada.

9. Discounter’s Pool & Spa Warehouse reserves the right to discontinue the Algae Free Guarantee at any time. Offer ends Sept 30th, 2023.
