• The iBall Velocity’s patent pending design allows it to produce better agitation during low flow rates, maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of the variable speed pump. When there are periods of increased flow rates, it will adjust its orifice size accordingly to reduce unnecessary back pressure on the system, while still maintaining sufficient surface agitation.

• Since a single speed pump doesn’t have a variable flow, then there is no direct need to buy this. However, if your pool system contains actuators that split the flow between the pool returns and any type of water feature, then this return may prove beneficial. It will react to this new, smaller flow rate and reduce its orifice for improved agitation.
